Our Loan Boxes put history in your students hands! Our exciting collections of real and replica artefacts lets them get up and close with the past. Each box draws on discoveries from our excavations.
York Archaeology Learning offers a unique selection of boxes that you can hire and use in the classroom. Whether you want to look at the daily life of the Vikings or find out how archaeologists learn about Prehistoric times, our boxes of archaeological artefacts, replicas and teachers’ notes give you a range of resources to bring the past to life. Choose between our standard single Loan Box hire, or our enhanced Loan Boxes Live! package to combine our Viking or Tudor box with a special tie-in virtual outreach session.
