JORVIK Viking Centre
Built on the very site where archaeologists discovered over 40,000 Viking-age objects, a visit to the JORVIK Viking Centre gives students the opportunity to learn about the real Viking settlement of Jorvik.
DIG is an exciting attraction which enables learners to engage with archaeology in a hands-on way. Pupils try their hand at becoming archaeologists and also learn how we use our discoveries to learn more about life in the past.
